Plan it, then
keep it honest.
A calendar that is as much a record as a plan. Lay out the day however rough, then move things to match what actually happened.
Free. Works offline. Nothing to install unless you want to.
How it works
Four habits, and the app is built around them.
- Lay out the day. Blocks for what you mean to do, however rough.
- As the day goes, move things to match reality. Drag a block that ran late, stretch one that took longer, add what you actually ended up doing.
- Cross off what never happened with the small ×, rather than deleting it.
- Say how it went when a block is done — it takes one tap.
Changes you make to a day before it begins are planning, and are not recorded. Once the day is underway, moving things is what actually happened, and that gets noted. You never have to press anything.

Takes about ten seconds in Edge or Chrome.
- Open Actual in Edge or Chrome.
- Click the install icon in the address bar — or the ⋯ menu, then Apps → Install this site as an app.
- It lands in your Start Menu and opens in its own window, with no browser chrome. Pin it to the taskbar if you like.
Signing in is optional. Without it everything stays on this device; with it, your plan follows you to your phone.
